Be gone. Good riddance.
That seems to be the collective refrain: 2020 really sucked; let’s shake the dust from our feet; let’s move on.
But is that true?
Oh, for sure, there were quite a few “challenges.”
But… Did it suck? All of it?
Be gone. Good riddance.
That seems to be the collective refrain: 2020 really sucked; let’s shake the dust from our feet; let’s move on.
But is that true?
Oh, for sure, there were quite a few “challenges.”
But… Did it suck? All of it?
It’s dark.
It’s been a really dark year.
It promises to be a long, dark winter.
Yet… this week… we celebrate the return of the Light.
And you… you have a job to do.
It’s that time again.
To plan. For the year ahead.
Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces during the Second World War, said, “Plans are worthless; but planning is everything.”
Say what?
Leaders challenge their teams; entrepreneurs and creatives challenge themselves.
“Think outside the box,” they say.
But…
What if there wasn’t a box?
Are you counting down the days until the end of 2020?
You wouldn’t be alone.
This wasn’t the year anyone expected… or wanted.
It would be tempting to just let the clock run out… and put it all behind you.
But don’t be so hasty.
